Yannick Saillet was born in 1966 in France. At 17 he did his first short film, which he financed by selling his parent’s car. Later he worked as assistant director with
directors like: margarete von trotta, serge gainsbourg and Olivier assayas.
 
From 1993 to 2006 Yannick directed more than 120 music videos for French and international artists such as curt smith “tears for fears”, marc almond, spooks, celine dion, jay jay johanson, jean-jacques goldman and Laurent voulzy.
 
Yannick won the award for the best French “music video 2003” for the clip of jean-jacques goldman’s song “tournent les violons”.
 
Past clients include: coca-cola, evian, mcdonalds, h&s, channel, diesel, elle, playstation, lipton, and many more.
 
Yannick speaks fluent French, English and German.
